I'm practically running around the whole day today. I reached office as early as 0720 hrs this morning, completed all urgent issues by 0830hrs and rushed off to NDC (National Dental Centre) to meet Popeye. I was feeling rather feverish and giddy at that point of time. I've requested for WFH (work from home) for the rest of the day and was approved (thanked goodness).

Reached NDC at about 0850 hrs, saw Popeye sitting at one corner with his dentist standing at his side. He was quite nervous and restless today. When I apporached him, the dentist told me that Popeye wanted to see me first before proceeding his surgery (he had some dental complications). It saddens me to see the way he looked and smile at me. What's going to happen?? I wondered aloud. I was uneasy the whole time at the reception area, waiting for him.

The surgery took almost 3 hrs and my dear Popeye staggered out from the OT at about 1150hrs. I ran to him just in time to get a grip of his arm and assist him to our seats. He was very weak. And the dentist told me that he fell and was unconscious for almost an hour due to the anaesthetic dosage that they had given him. Astaghfirullah...

What did I do?

Haha..yeah I cried initially. Then I realised that I'm supposed to be strong for him despite knowing that I myself isn't physically fit today. I'm having a temperature of 38.5 at that moment. However, it's nice to know that he's depending on me this time (usually, it's vice-versa). I feel good! =)

So off I sent him home (figure out how i did it) immediately after everything's settled. He slept throughout the whole journey and it took me approximately 40 minutes to reached his void deck. Bravo!!!! I did it! =) Anyway, for those who have figured it out, shhhh.... keep it among yourself.
